Birch Hill Farm is nestled in the Green Mountains of Vermont and home to our grass-fed Katahdins. Our flocks are naturally raised on grass pastures and during the winter months we feed our farm-grown organic hay. We strive to breed easy lambing ewes with supreme mothering skills and to produce lambs with exceptional EPD's. Our parasite protocol is based on intensive rotational grazing and we carefully monitor our flocks for parasites using FAMACHA scoring and only worm animals on a need basis. We are members of the NSIP program and EPD's are available for all our sheep, we are also members of the Voluntary Scrapie Program and are Certified Scrapie Free (#VT66) with a certification date of July 2007.
